Boarder Duty Fees (𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵)

Why is a fee applied at checkout?

The vast majority of products we present are stored in warehouses based in the United States. Anytime a commercial item passes from the United States to Canada, the receiving government (Canada) charges taxes on the incoming goods.

I thought shipping was free. Why does the checkout page apply shipping?

If you're seeing a shipping charge at checkout, the charged amount will not be  applied or related to shipping. Actually, this charge is used to pay the boarder agents for things like import documentation, incoming boarder scheduling, and other processing fees charged by the broker.

To get your order shipped faster, we collect the broker fee during the checkout process.

Is there any additional cost?

Once the item(s) have cleared customs, the Canadian government will work directly with you to collect all import taxes on the item(s). For more details on this, please go to our page Delivery To Canada.
