Water Maintenance Quick Guide

FAQ: Cold Plunge Ice Baths

Q: "Which water chiller system should I get?"

A: The chiller you'll need is completely dependent on the environment you plan to put your plunge in.

If you intend to use your cold plunge indoors or inside a somewhat temperature controlled environment (like a garage), the 0.6 HP water chiller should be enough. If you intend to use it outdoor, it's recommended to go with the 0.8 or 1.0 HP water chiller system.
Please note: cold plunges are designed as three-season products. We are working on a winterizing kit that insulates the utilities to handle sub-freezing temperatures.

Q: "Can it be used outdoors?"

A: The water chiller system can be used outdoors and we also have dedicated tubs for outdoor use.

If you intend to use your cold plunge outdoors, we recommend using a 0.8 HP chiller system (or stronger) and our outdoor barrel tub cold plunge. You can even use our inflatable portable cold plunge outside but you'd need to be sure to place it on a secure space and deflate it when finished. For long term placement, the dedicated outdoor plunge tub is recommended.

It's also recommended to invest in a heavy duty cover if your water chiller system will be exposed to the elements.

Please note: Our plunges are designed as three-season products. We are working on a winterizing kit that insulates the utilities to handle sub-freezing temperatures. If you know the temperatures will drop below 30° F, you'd need to drain the tub of water but once the water is drained, the tub can remain in place if it's intended use is for outdoors.

Q: "Do the tubs have liner?"

A: Yes, the cold plunge tubs include premium liner.

Yes! We line our tubs with a extremely rugged low VOC non-slip liner. It's also extremely comfortable and adds a layer of luxury while protecting the plunge from corrosion & rust.

Q: "How much is shipping?"

A: Free

The price you see now is the price you'll see at check out. In other words, you won't be charged taxes and shipping is free (industry standard curbside delivery)

Q: "Can I buy only the water chilling system (or just the tub)?"

A: Yes, the items can be purchased individually or bundled.

Of course, bundling will give you the best price because the items will be shipped together. Shop all Cold Plunge Product to see our selection of individual and bundled cold plunge products.

Q: "Can I install the cold plunge myself?"

A: Yes, set up in very easy. Feel free to take a look at the video provide below.

Q: "What kind of maintenance is involved?"

A: Maintaining your cold plunge can be done by yourself and with the help of a few simple tools. Please watch the video for a details explaination.

Q: "How do I change the water filters?"

A: Changing your filter is a quick project and can be done with or without draining the water. See video for complete details.

Q: "How does the cold plunge water drain?"

A: It's going to be easier if you are able to drain outside, but by no means is that a requirement. Draining your cold plunge can be done both indoor or outdoors. Please see video for more details.
