All units come in panels. The great thing about our Stand Alone Steam Showers is that they are pre-assembled with pre-drilled holes. You can move any of the units through a standard 32" doorway for easy access into remodeled homes, basements, and other unique situations.
Yes, all units can fit through a standard 32" doorway. Even units with a whirlpool tub will fit through any space larger than 26".
One 30 AMP GFCI Breaker.
The unit is about 500 lbs.+water and your weight, and that is definitely a case-by-case type question. Please consult your contractor based on these weights we have provided.
The inline Heat Pump is attached to the water pump, and the heat pump will maintain the water temperature in the tub portion of the unit.
Regardless of the number of showerheads, all units have one hot/cold connection.
The connection is located behind the shower hot/cold controls which differ per unit. Normally the hot/cold is about 30" from the floor on the back of the unit. Flex hoses are included for easy hookups no matter where your current hot/cold is located. Refer to the listing page of each steam shower for the exact location which can be seen in the diagrams towards the bottom of the page.
The steam generator is located underneath the tub and on certain units, it is placed on the back of the unit. All generators are mounted to the frame or screwed to the back of the unit so that they do not take up a room beyond the dimensions of the shower. All of the steam showers will sit flush against the wall.
The steam showers are designed to be free-standing units so that in case of an issue behind the unit, you can easily slide the unit away from the wall for access. The plumbing and the electrical connections are flexible so that you can easily make this happen. If at all possible, an access panel is a terrific option in case of any future issues.

The shower/tub combo is great but the directions is absolutely horrible. 6 steps for setting up this whole tub, doesn't tell you what screws go where nothing for the wiring. No help at all. But shower looks great. Fast shipping as well
The product was suppose to ship three days after the order was complete which would have worked out great since I was scheduled for surgery and would have been able to maneuver the off load much better but did not receive the order until after my surgery which left me unable to unpack everything to check for any damage. Now since I am unable to do anything the product still sits in its crate. We ordered this item about 6 weeks before my surgery date. Otherwise very nice people that do their best to keep you informed.
High quality and great customer support. Purchased the Mesa 905 steam shower for a bathroom remodel. Assembling took about 6 hours and installation a half a day with my contractor.
Shower was shipped in wooden crates...made it here 3 days after ordering. Was weary of the website being legit...def. received shower and quickly.... along with a follow up from a company rep to make sure all was good and see if I had any questions. Shop with confidence
I received it and put it together in less than a day. Wasn’t too bad. I like that the base has level adjustments on it. The headrest cushion doesn’t fit the indentation it is intended for. The outline is correct, but the center spacing is off 1/2” between the suction cups. The manufacturer was awesome to talk to and they’re suppose to be sending me a new cushion. Haven’t hooked it up yet. Waiting for the plumber to install the drain and water lines to it. It’s in an old farmhouse that I’m restoring and all new plumbing is next on the list. Can’t wait to get it going, I have had two previous steam rooms in previous homes, but it’s been a while and I really miss having one. Not sure about a jet that you almost sit on, or even if it is a jet. If so, it seems like it would’ve very uncomfortable. I would like to give another review after Christmas, after the plumber comes.
Ordered the Mesa 905 combo steam shower. It was delivered in about 5-6 business days. It came in 3-4 pieces and delivered by FedEx. Installation was easy and if we had any questions FindYourBath provides a dedicated phone number for technical installation questions. We are very happy with our purchase!!
This is a first for me. Normally I only review 1 star (avoid) or 5 star (highly recommend). The Mesa 905 sits just above the middle (3.5stars) but I can’t find any full reviews on line so here goes for others considering this unit.
I’ve lived with and used the Mesa 905 steam shower for a few months now and here is my honest review.
First, let’s start with the delivery. 5 stars. Fast, simple (yes even to Canada (before tariffs mind you)) and on time. Can’t say enough about how easy this part was.
Next, customer service. 5 stars. Every call, every email answered friendly, quickly and patiently. This is a good thing because you’ll use them often.
Now we are on to assembly and installation instructions. 2 stars. It would be one star but the English translation is so comical at least you can laugh while trying to figure out what the heck they mean. The grainy video is a little more helpful but all in all the instructions are lacking, to say the least. Why Mesa has not taken the time to write proper English assembly and installation instructions is beyond me.
Finally, operation and use. 3.5 stars. Don’t get me wrong, everything works! And there were no leaks! There’s so many pipes and wires it was amazing everything worked out of the box. However, after about 2 weeks my blue lights stopped working. I highly suggest following the recommendation to install an access panel as I will be having to get in there to see if I can fix the light problem. Glad I don’t have to pull the whole unit out.
As for the 6 things this tub does? The jet tub is great. Even the confusing jet in the floor gets you right in the lower back - perfect. However, there is one proviso here; you can’t be tall. I can’t see this unit working for, or be comfortable for, anyone over 6’ tall. It’s just too small. Look at the larger units for sale if you’re tall.
The rain shower and wand shower are quite nice. The foot massager is a gimmick and unnecessary. The massage shower is great but if you select it with the door open, you are getting your whole bathroom wet! Why would this happen you ask? Well this brings me to the selector knob. First there are two identical “indicators” on either side of the round selector dial. It is confusing as to which one is the pointer. Then the selections are printed in light grey on a chrome background. It is very difficult to see which operation you are selecting. Add in some mist on the dial, and you’re just turning blindly, sometimes with a surprising shot of water to the body when you thought you were selecting the tub fill. This will take some getting used to. The selector should be highlighted and the selections should be printed in black.
Lastly, the steam. 5 stars. This is what we bought the unit for and this it does very well. If you’re looking for an affordable steam shower with minimal renovation, this is it. All the quirky little things fall by the wayside as you steam your troubles away. Oh, but that does bring me to one of my last 2 points. When you get up from your steam, you’ll want to be standing on a bath mat. The floor is very slippery and the slope of the “tub seat” can catch you off guard.
My last point is again a quirky one. The electronic control panel has many spelling errors as it welcomes you and shows you your selections. Plus the voice used to verbalize your selections has a very thick accent making it somewhat difficult to understand but puts a smile on my face every time I’m greeted turning the unit on.
Overall, this is clearly the entry level model in the Mesa lineup. However, it does as advertised. It replaces a standard tub with a really cool steam shower that comes with 5 other features of varying usefulness. If Mesa can solve a few of the problems I’ve noted, it’ll be even better.
The new steam shower is not yet installed but it arrived in well protected packaging. After being unpacked, it looks like a very high quality steam shower and I can't wait for my plumber friend to get it installed soon.
